Go America!

Chase and I are reclaiming our faith in our country. The American people have not been duped this election and I am so excited about the future.

Barack has a inherited messed up foreign relations, two ongoing wars, and an economy in the depths.... but I love his eloquence in speech, his hope, and his determination.

Now, I feel that America has a brighter future...

Don't tell Zach!! :-) As of late, he's become a hard core libertarian... Not surprised that Obama won, but he's certainly not pleased. When I told him I voted Obama, he told me he thought I had more sense in my brain! Haha!

Off topic, but Nordstrom is having their Half Yearly Sale for women and kids now. I thought of you when I got my notice in the mail.

Ben and I totally voted for Obama, though we were the only ones in our respective families (besides my mom, who didn't vote!). My dad finally saw my Obama sticker on my car last weekend and I swear it took him 5 minutes to recover himself and make it to the front door. (He and Patti were bringing us soup because we both had strep!) Bless his heart. I guess he still retains the hope that I will turn Republican one day. Oh, and did you see the map for Texas? all the border cities went for obama, but beyond that, he only held the majority in Austin, Houston and Dallas. I guess that's better than nothing!
